Service Guarantee

Don't forget to put in for your free tickets when service is delayed more than 30 minutes. I wonder how much it is costing the company to give away free tickets?

Does anyone know why the conductors are not opening more doors on the train?? Why do we pay surcharge to purchase tickets on the train? Isn't that part of the job of a conductor? If they don't sell tickets, what do they do?? I know they are responsible for our safety but why charge us premium to perform part of their job? Who has time to wait in line at ticket counter at South Station to get ticket before boarding train? It wouldn't be so bad if they had more than 1 or 2 windows open to service customers.

Ken - No problem. Go to www.mbta.com and click on customer service and fill out form. You will get roundtrip tickets that you can turn in for cash at South Station or Back Bay. The 7:14 train from Norfolk was close to 30 minutes late again today so I put in for another "free" roundtrip.
